L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara

Christmas is coming so its time to start stocking up on some new makeup for those loads of Christmas parties and reunions. I had a quick look through my cabinet and noticed I needed quite a few things. One of the things that always needs replacement is a mascara so I went on the quest to check out the latest mascaras on the market.

After checking out a few brands, I was seduced by the L’Oreal Telescopic mascara because I was impressed with the really thin applicator. It reminded me of a magician’s wand and I hope it does some magic to my lashes. The applicator is over five inches long with the brush at the edge measuring around 1 inch and is flexible. I was a bit uneasy using this brush for the first time because I have never used such a kind of brush. So I started tapping as lightly as possible on the lashes. One single mistake and your lashes will clump up so you need to be really careful with this. With patience you can get beautiful looking lashes but for quick everyday use it’s probably too much of a hassle and too hard to apply. However it’s a long lasting mascara and lasted all through the day without the need of any further application. I guess I will keep this mascara for those special occasions when I have the time to apply full makeup slowly. One last tip, don’t try to use this mascara while driving cause you will definitely end up with some very unsexy panda eyes!

The price of this mascara is an average of $8 and the shades you can choose from are black, brown black, and blackest black. This product is easily available in most department stores. I won’t be giving it a very good rating because it’s a bit too fiddly to use but if you have time, patience and a steady hand, go for it!
