L’Oreal Elvive Color Protect

Summer is here and my hair is already suffering the effects of the sun. I feel it very dry at the edges and the normal conditioner is not helping much. So I wanted to buy something stronger like a conditioning hair mask.

The repair mask I chose is the L’Oreal Elvive Color Protect because I do have some highlights at the moment! It is attractively packaged in a red plastic tub with a maroon rimmed top. The product is very thick and if you turn the product upside down it won’t even move! It’s literally got the consistency of a face cream.

The product smells fantastic. I stick my nose in the tub quite a few times. It is also very easy to use. Just apply a bit of the product to the edges and leave in for a couple of minutes. Then simply rinse with warm water. The result is softer and smoother hair. I’m pretty pleased with the results and I can honestly say my hair does feel better. I would suggest that this product gets applied only to the tips because I’m sure that if I had to use it on the roots it would make my hair too oily. Definitely a good pick me up for my hair!

Stendhal Hydro Harmony Eye Contour Gel Cream

Stendhal is a brand I had never tried so when I saw this range at a new posh perfumery in my area I had to try it out. I picked the Eye Contour Gel because it promises to erase dark circles reduces puffiness smooth fine lines and relieve irritations. Having very sensitive skin, my eye area often needs to be soothed and restored.

The tub of eye gel is very feminine yet simple in a pearl white with a purple top. Elegantly designed and at roughly $33 for a 15ml it is moderately priced. The product itself feels very light and fresh on the skin. Although I can’t say I observed some long term miracles on my skin, the eye area definitely felt revived. It’s a kind of instant pick me up for the eye area so I would be using this product! I noticed it works really well after a late night out and I don’t go to work looking like a zombie. Good product to have for emergencies in your cabinet.
